Disabling Shopifyʼs customer notifications

Packfleet's customer journey keeps them informed at every stage of the process. So you may want to disable your storeʼs own notifications.

At Packfleet, we keep the customer informed with a text message and an e-mail on every major delivery event.

If you import orders from Shopify and use our auto-fulfillment feature, you may notice for certain events that your customers receive an e-mail from Packfleet as well as an e-mail from Shopify.

To prevent this duplication, itʼs often a good idea to disable Shopifyʼs delivery notifications once the order is fulfilled.

To do this:

  1. Press ⚙️ Settings next to your Shopify store

  2. Scroll all the way down to "Advanced settings"

  3. Un-toggle "Shopify notifications for recipients"
